NOTE:
The checkvalve is designed for optimum performance with the "flapper" in this vertical position. The valve may be rotated (within reason) to accommodate a better entry/exit configuration. It is NOT recommended to install the checkvalve upside-down.

NOTE:
This checkvalve allows for remote accessability. This is designed with an effort to provide access to the cool-down hook up without opening the hood -- entry trhough the cowl flap. This could save valuable seconds at Richmond, Bristol, etc. In an overheating situation during the race, especially when the hood may be damaged. This also moves the hoses out of the way during practice, qualifying changeover, and scaling procedures.

C&R offers a weld-on plate, along with bulkhead fittings to accommodate Jiffy-Tite Fittings or 1/2' NPT thread.
